The Olympic Flag at Washington School

The Flag route is part of the Organizing Committee´s Education and Cultural Programme of the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.

The Olympic Flag arrived at School followed by Kindergarten and Primary students acknowledged by their commitment, effort and fellowship. Its route is part of the Organizing Committee´s Education and Cultural Programme of the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games which seeks the foundation of the Olympic values of friendship and respect. Secondary School students paraded in front of the rest of the children dressed in their sports uniforms in a way to stimulate physical activity in small kids. Benefits of physical activity:

• It helps emotional regulation, improving one’s mood.
• It increases the ability to concentrate.
• It strengthens self-esteem.
• It contributes to the development of social skills.
